Amazing Support for the Young Carers Programme
On behalf of all our carers, volunteers and colleagues at Action for Carers Surrey, I would like to say a heartfelt thank you for the incredible £6,500 you have raised to support our work, particularly our young carers programme.
This fantastic total was made possible through your commitment and creativity across the year, including:
Non-uniform days
Refreshment sales
An entertaining talent show
The funding you have raised will go directly towards supporting young carers through positive and confidence-building opportunities. This includes fun and meaningful activities such as bowling, paddleboarding and residential trips away, giving young carers time out from caring, the chance to relax, and opportunities to connect with others who understand their experiences.
