Surrey Indoor Championships: Four Bring Home Medals
Four of our talented athletes were in action at the Surrey Indoor Championships at the weekend and all four came away with medals.
Ella-Jaide W (Second Year) won the U15 High Jump with 1.50m. Last year Ella-Jaide was ranked number 1 in the UK at U13 level and this jump in her new age group, where she is competing against older athletes already puts her at 19th.
Estee N (Lower Sixth) won gold in both the U17 Long Jump 5.14m and the U20 High Jump 1.50m and a silver in the Shot Putt 9.38m.
Tunrore A (Upper Sixth) won gold in the U20 High Jump 1.85m with a new personal best performance. This jump takes him to 17th in the UK for his age group.
Ava W (Third Year) won a bronze in the U15 Triple Jump, 9.80m
These athletes will now have their eyes set on qualification for the English »»ÆÞ¾ãÀÖ²¿s Track and Field Championships and we can’t wait to see them in action next term on the track!
